Is Yoimed a medical provider?+

No. Yoimed is a care navigation and concierge platform. We help you compare and book vetted Mexican providers — all clinical care, diagnosis, and treatment is provided by licensed Mexican clinics and physicians.

How are the savings estimates calculated?+

Savings compare typical US self-pay prices (from public dental fee surveys) against the bundled estimate provided by our partner clinics. Final pricing depends on your specific case and is confirmed by the treating clinic.

How do you vet providers?+

Every clinic must provide current Mexican professional licensure, malpractice insurance documentation, a named medical director, and agree to our response, refund, and aftercare SLAs. We also monitor verified reviews and incident reports.

What if something goes wrong after I get home?+

Your coordinator stays with you through follow-up. You get a recovery checklist, scheduled check-ins, and a direct escalation line. We coordinate with the treating clinic for any warranty or remediation work.

Do you handle the border crossing?+

We help arrange shuttles, document checklists, and lodging near the clinic. For procedures in Tijuana, many patients use the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) bridge from San Diego.

Is my data private?+

Yes. We follow US health privacy standards (HIPAA-ready posture, FTC Health Breach Notification readiness) and Mexico's LFPDPPP for sensitive data. Your records are encrypted and only the clinic you choose receives them.
