Provider vetting
Every clinic in our network must provide current Mexican professional licensure (cédula profesional), malpractice insurance documentation with disclosed limits, a named medical director, and a signed SLA covering response times, refunds, and aftercare. We monitor verified reviews and incident reports continuously.
We are not a medical provider
Yoimed is a care navigation and concierge platform. We do not diagnose, treat, or practice medicine. All clinical care is delivered by licensed Mexican clinics and physicians who hold the patient relationship and clinical responsibility.
Privacy and data protection
We operate to a HIPAA-ready posture in the US and comply with Mexico's LFPDPPP for sensitive personal data. Patient records are encrypted in transit and at rest. Only the clinic you select receives your records, and only with your explicit consent. We maintain breach response procedures aligned to FTC Health Breach Notification Rule expectations.
Encryption & security standards
All patient data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ (TLS 1.3 where supported) and at rest using AES-256. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and checked against the Have I Been Pwned breach database at signup and reset. Uploaded documents (X-rays, photos, quotes) live in private storage with row-level access control — only you, your selected clinic, and your coordinator can retrieve them via short-lived signed URLs. Third-party secrets are stored in an encrypted vault.
Pricing transparency
All prices on this site are estimates based on standard patient profiles and historical bundles from partner clinics. Final pricing depends on your specific case and is confirmed by the treating clinic before any deposit. We never advertise guaranteed savings — only realistic ranges.
Aftercare and complications
Every patient gets scheduled follow-up check-ins and a direct escalation line. If a complication arises, your coordinator helps you coordinate with the treating clinic for warranty or remediation work. For urgent issues at home, we recommend seeking immediate local medical care.
AI guardrails
Our AI assists with intake structuring, translation, scheduling, and price estimation. It never makes clinical decisions, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Every AI output is reviewed by a human coordinator before reaching you, and labeled accordingly.
