What Yoimed is — and what it is not.
Yoimed is a care navigation, matching, scheduling, translation and financing/coordination platform for U.S. self-pay patients exploring elective care from independent providers in Mexican border towns. The following disclosures govern your use of the platform.
Not a medical or dental practice
Yoimed does not own, operate, control or employ any clinic, dentist, physician, surgeon or other licensed healthcare professional. Yoimed does not provide medical, dental, surgical, diagnostic, or treatment services of any kind. All clinical services are delivered by independent third-party providers licensed in their jurisdiction. Your provider — not Yoimed — is solely responsible for the care you receive.
Not clinical advice — including no AI clinical advice
Nothing on this website, in our messaging, in any coordinator communication, or in any automated, machine-generated or AI-generated output constitutes medical or dental advice, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment recommendation, or a substitute for the judgment of a licensed clinician. Any AI features are used for operational tasks such as triage routing, translation assistance, scheduling, and document organization — never to diagnose, prescribe, or recommend a specific procedure. Always consult a qualified, licensed provider before making any healthcare decision.
What Yoimed does
Yoimed (1) helps patients navigate cross-border care options, (2) matches inquiries to vetted independent clinics, (3) coordinates appointments, travel logistics and the border crossing, (4) provides bilingual English/Spanish translation and communication, and (5) helps surface financing and payment options. These are administrative and concierge services, not the practice of medicine or dentistry.
Pricing estimates
All prices, savings figures and timelines shown on Yoimed are non-binding estimates supplied by third-party clinics or derived from historical ranges. The treating provider determines the final treatment plan and price after an in-person clinical evaluation. Estimates are not offers, guarantees, or warranties.
Independent provider relationship
Your care relationship is directly with the treating clinic and its licensed clinicians. Yoimed is not a party to the provider-patient relationship and does not assume liability for clinical outcomes. Providers carry their own professional credentials, licensure and (where disclosed) malpractice coverage.
No emergencies
Yoimed is not designed for medical or dental emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) or go to the nearest emergency room.
Cross-border care
Care provided outside the United States is governed by the laws and regulatory frameworks of the country and jurisdiction where it is delivered. U.S. health insurance, Medicare and Medicaid generally do not cover elective care performed in Mexico. You are responsible for understanding the legal, regulatory and travel implications of seeking care abroad.
